Description
As part of the Global BCP and Security team, the BCP and Security Lead for GeBC, Costa Rica will do the following:
· Act as the conscience and voice of the organization for the BCP and Security functions.
· Responsible for coordinating rollout of BCP and Security programs in the center. Acts as the expert and focal point for control over the following:
1. BCP – Business Continuity Planning (including all aspects of BCP such as documentation, testing etc);
2. Information Security and Data Privacy (including the ISO 27001);
3. Physical Security oversight and other related projects;
4. Ensures close coordination with the worldwide BCP and Security team to leverage upon learning as well as to deliver consistently across global centers;
5. Organizes self-audits, to assess the current state of BCP, Security and preparedness;
6. Facilitates internal and external audit reviews at the center and ensures timely response and follow-up on issues raised.
Qualifications
· Masters in Business Administration (MBA)/ Chartered Accountant/, Masters in Information Systems (MIS), BE/ B.Tech / B.Com or equivalent with minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
· One or more certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) etc will be preferred.
· Demonstrated project management skills.
· Strong planning, organizing and teamwork skills – ability to work remotely to coordinate others’ activities to meet a goal.
· Self starter.
· Exposure to BCP/ DRP is a must.

· Exposure to BS 7799 standard is preferred.
· Exposure to privacy laws (such as UK Data Privacy Act/ US Safeharbor/ California Privacy Act etc) is preferred.
· Experience in a global company, thereby fostering an appreciation for different operational environments desired.
· Exposure to Emergency Response, Crisis Management will be preferred.
· Exposure to Risk Assessment and Impact Analysis is a must.
· Experience or interest in any/ many aspects of BCP/ DRP.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent presentation skills.
· Proficient in use of MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
· MS Access and/or MS Project desirable.
