Experience in the residential energy efficiency field with specific knowledge related to energy efficiency products and services. Knowledge and experience with the US EPA and DOE ENERGY STAR Program is preferred.

The Energy Field Representative will provide technical support in the development and implementation of residential energy efficiency programs including ENERGY STAR Products and Services. Key functions and responsibilities include:
1. Partner Recruiting: Conduct field activities and sales calls to recruit mid-stream program partners, i.e., appliance and lighting retailers, product manufacturers and distributors.
2. Technical Assistance and Training: Provide partner sales training and technical assistance regarding the benefits of manufacturing, selling and stocking energy efficient products.
3. Field Operation Experience: Demonstrate experience with the ability to work independently and remotely.
Standard Job Description Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customer&os;s organization.

Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
