Medical TranscriptionistMedical Transcriptionist Team MemberYou must be able to accurately transcribe medical reports to include (but not limited to) ER Charts, consultations, history and physical discharge summary, and letters and in-patient notes. While not required, some form of previous training or experience is generally necessary to be able to perform sufficiently well in prescreening testing. A Minimum typing speed of 55 words per minute is required while previous experience in acute care, ER or multiple specialties is preferred. You will train for approximately 8 weeks in the office and, once quality standards are met, working from home becomes an option. You must be able to sit for long periods of time while transcribing. You must also be responsible, reliable, self-disciplined and self-directed enough to work without direct management oversight.
